Rotorua teenager Dion Bolt was sentenced in the High Court at Rotorua today to seven years and six months jail for the attempted murder of
Tokoroa teenager Seth Terra. Mr Terra was left fighting for his life after being chased and run down by Bolt in a 4WD in Tokoroa last September. He suffered multiple fractures to his ribs, a broken collarbone and severe head injuries, and underwent emergency brain surgery. Seth, who was in hospital for three weeks, has recovered and his family were present at the High Court today when Bolt was sentenced. Justice Wylie imposed a non-parole period of three years nine months.
