Escaped from custody just after sentencing. Have now been recaptured.
Raided a home in Hastings with Pouaka and two others, threatened the terrified occupants with a knife and a hammer and stole money, clothing and a video. Knifed, kicked and beat one of the occupants, kicked the other.

While on parole Brown and a co-offender approached the 42 year-old shearer who took out his girlfriend's vehicle for mechanical help. After turning down their request to take them to Camberley, the complainant was punched and kicked in a savage attack, before one threatened to run him down, the offenders then drove off in the car.
