Former Palmerston North gang member Hemi Scott Davidson, 31, has been jailed for one year after being found guilty in the High Court at Wellington of being part of an organised criminal group. The charge was laid after Davidson had waited outside an Ashhurst house in December 2002 while other members of the Black Power offshoot gang Mangu Kaha were inside "taxing" a man in an attempt to extort two cars.
