Background
After being freed from the earlier 18 month jail term Epati twice attempted to sodomise the young complainant and threatened her with violence. The prosecution described Epati as a repeat offender who had used the young complainant repeatedly for his own gratification. Epati underwent counselling but this was of no benefit.
