A man who sexually attacked a young woman who had stopped to help him appeared for sentence in the High Court at Wanganui yesterday and was jailed for six years. George Mitchell Lennon (31), of Tokoroa, was sentenced on convictions for threatening to kill, sexual violation and attempted rape. Lennon sexually attacked a 19-year-old woman in a ditch on the side of State Highway 3, between Wanganui and Turakina, after he waved her down to help him when his car broke down on February 7.
