Background
The Auckland High Court was told abused the complainant while she was sleeping. He would then indecently assault her several weeks later. Police say the offending happened at parties hosted by the complainants parents. Paaka also made threats to sexually abuse the complainants sister if she did not let him have his way. Four years later Paaka raped the complainant.
