Background
Ran his wife down with his Ute, and said that Rosemary "jumped" out in front of him. This occurred in the small town of Paengaroa (Bay Of Plenty) and was extensively covered by the Bay Of Plenty Times. He was sentenced to life in the High Court at Rotorua. Paul Mabey (Q.C.) represented Roberts.
