This Listener article has a brief summary of this case
February 2000: Sex worker Lisa Blakie’s body was found under a boulder in the Porter River, in the foothills of the Southern Alps, four days after she was battered to death by Christchurch man Timothy Taylor, 35. Following his conviction for the Blakie murder, Taylor was also convicted of the rape of a teenager in Rangiora. The teenager came forward to report she had also been Taylor’s victim.
