Has New Zealand become a land fit for criminals?. Escalating violent crime, sexual predators and violent criminals being granted Bail! Should New Zealand lock up more criminals to ensure safety of the law abiding community?

The Sensible Sentencing Trust say academics and bureaucrats have not only overseen but deliberately fostered policies that have created a spectacular and terrifying rise in violent crime.

Trust Spokesman Garth McVicar says it is time a debate was had to expose the real criminals.

“The public have been totally misled by the corrupt and dishonest policies of past and present governments and the law-abiding public has been used as puppets in a disastrous social experiment.”

To spark the debate the Trust has arranged for a British crime expert and author/ researcher to visit New Zealand and undertake a series of public meetings and media interviews.
