Sensible Sentencing Trust
(8th October 2009)
The Sensible Sentencing Trust would like to congratulate John Key on a spectacular strategy to combat P.
Christine Davey, SST's Spokesperson on Drug Issues, is very happy to see that families may now be given the support they need, instead of just being blamed for P use within their ranks.
Whilst it is acknowledged that P may not be eliminated altogether, this comprehensive, long overdue “P Plan” has the potential to provide relief for many families and victims, as well as the NZ economy – all of whom have incurred the tremendous emotional and financial cost of this scourge over the last decade.
On behalf of the many families we represent, “Thank you”
Regards,
Christine Davey

Through the Sensible Sentencing Trust Christine is campaigning for intervention in drug use at family request and removal of children from the care of known drug-users.
