Another 16 months added cumulatively to that in June 2007
Background
From Taranaki Daily News story June 19th 2007
TABAK COMMOR (35) must serve at least two-thirds of a three- year sentence for unlawful sexual connection with a girl under 16. Commor, who had already spent 16 months in jail for similar offending, had previously admitted two further charges of indecent assault.
The charges stemmed from two incidents which occurred in Stratford in December last year and January this year. He had previously admitted to grabbing one girl around the throat and pushing her against a wall, and trying to kiss her. Commor dragged the girl into a bathroom before ripping her underwear and trying to rape her. A month later, he assaulted another girl while she was sleeping.
Judge Roberts added a further 16 months for the two indecent assault charges. The sentences are cumulative.
