Cox went to the motel unit of the complainant (who was a friend of his wife) and told her he was going to massage her. The complainant moved away from him into the bedroom of the unit but Cox followed her, sat on her, pulled the victim's clothes down, pulled his own pants down, then sexually abused her. Cox claimed the sex acts were consensual.
