Background
From the Southland Times 4th July 2009
An Invercargill plasterer who indecently assaulted a woman at an Invercargill
nightclub will be sentenced in September after appearing in the Invercargill
District Court yesterday.
David Michael Gould, 21, appeared before Judge Kevin Phillips charged with indecently assaulting a woman and injuring a man by an unlawful act, namely an assault, on March 21.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Rob Mills said Gould was at Tillerman's nightclub when he put his hand on the woman's bottom and pushed his fingers into her genitalia. He later punched a man at the club. Judge Phillips remanded Gould on bail to September 4 for sentence.
