Pleady guilty to indecent assault. The offending also involved full sex with the young girl but he got off more lightly than his brother Dereck Ormsby because he had already served time in jail for similar offences, had had treatment and had a good appreciation of the effects of his crime, making him unlikely to reoffend, the defence claimed. The court was told he abused the girl for a shorter time than his brother but the damage was no less.
