Background
The Crown said that the first victim who was deaf resided with her father at the time. Her father, Simpson and another man were drinking at her aunt and uncles house. They then caught a taxi to the home of another relative. The victim's father went inside the house but the others were waiting in the taxi. That is when Simpson indecently assaulted the victim. She then got out of the taxi and ran home and took a shower. Simpson then entered her house and raped her in the bathroom. The second victim also resided with her father at the time. Her father, Simpson and some other persons were drinking at Simpson's flat which is when Simpson indecently assaulted the second victim.
