Background
In the Auckland High Court, Justice Christopher Allan told Tulafono when sentencing him that "each of these young women has eloquently explained the devastating impact your conduct has had on her life." He said the victims were vulnerable women who had the right to be safe while they were alone at night. The judge said the sex attacks involved a degree of premeditation and that Tulafono had shown no remorse. He urged Tulafono to redeem himself while in prison or he could spend the rest of his life locked up. "In the end however it's all up to you."
