A former Dunedin man had three years and six months added to his jail term for a sex-related assault in Dunedin four years ago. Jemadar White, 35, unemployed, admitted assaulting a woman with the intent of raping her on April 19, 2001. Judge Saunders said White was not suspected until after he was convicted of a similar offence last year. DNA evidence linked him to the 2001 attack. White was already serving a six-year jail sentence.
