Background
The Auckland High Court heard how Williams' offending intensified when he took his stepdaughter to his workplace on over night shifts. He encouraged her to masturbate, showed her pornographic videos, raped her, masturbated in front of her, had oral sex with her, penetrated her genitalia with his fingers and various objects along with other indecencies. Justice Keane said the victim moved to New Zealand from America with her mother and three sisters when Williams formed a relationship with the victim's mother.
