"A Hokitika man convicted of murdering his girlfriend is to serve a minimum of 15 years in prison after a High Court Judge
told him there was a "serious need to protect others from you".
Paul Russell Wilson, aged 31, a sickness beneficiary, was found guilty by a jury in the High court at Greymouth on November
3rd of murdering 21 year old Kimberly Jean Schroder, whose throat was cut."
Justice Williamson told Wilson "You appear unusually cold, with no sign of remorse" and the same was stated in a doctor's report.
